H and B Digital received a shipment of the newly released Olympus VG-120 entry-level digital compact cameras in black and in silver today (the VG-120 in red is available for preorder and will be available in about a week or so). The VG-120 is what Olympus calls the “ideal all-rounder” digital camera and from what I’ve seen, they might just come correct.
The cameras come equipped with the essentials - 5x (26mm) wide optical zoom lens, 14 megapixels, 3 inch LCD screen and digital image stabilization. It also includes the full array of Olympus high-end optics and inspired features like the Instant Movie Record option that can capture 720p HD videos with just one click of a button or the seven Magic Art Filters that can enhance your shots and encourage your creativity. All these features packed into a pocket-sized, slim body at pretty good price ($139.99).
