According to the article, a woman lost her Olympus Stylus Tough digital camera while diving in the Turks and Caicos and 9 months later, to her astonishment, she received an email from a friend telling her that her camera was found intact 870 miles north of Bermuda!
If this doesn't convince you of the impressive durability of Olympus' weatherproof and waterproof digital cameras then I don't know what will, expect maybe trying one out for yourself!
