Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS Spring Sample Images
Below are several sample images taken in Central Park, New York City, on Saturday, April 6, 2013, with the excellent Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS lens.On a APS-C sensor body, such as the Canon 7D (with which the photos were taken) or a Canon Rebel, the 55-250mm becomes a versatile 88-400mm (35-mm equivalent).
As you will see, the lens is capable of producing some fantastic results, particularly given its relatively low price of $299. This is a great and economical way to get nature and animal/birding photos or to zoom in on portraits.
